Accessible until 7pm this Sunday, the 97th Brussels Motor Show can already be described as a popular success by its organiser, the Belgian and Luxembourg Federation of the Automobile and Cycle. Despite two days of heavy snowfall, FEBIAC can already confirm that more than 442,000 visitors will have visited the Brussels Motor Show. This is a very clear message from Belgian citizens about their commitment to individual mobility solutions.
Bringing together 15 World and European premieres and more than 110 Belgian premieres, the 2019 edition of the Brussels Motor Show will have left its mark on people's minds with its unanimous success. Already widely acclaimed by media during the Press Day on 18 January, it will then have convinced the general public by bringing together more than 442,000 visitors during its opening period, from 19 to 27 January. Its final result, which will not be known until after 7pm, should therefore in all likelihood surpass the record of 437,112 visitors set in 2017 by an exhibition dedicated to cars, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles.
As organizer of the Brussels Motor Show, FEBIAC can only be pleased to see once again the unfailing commitment shown by the Belgian public to individual mobility solutions, as well as the continuing interest shown by the political world, both federal and regional, in mobility and clean vehicles. For a large majority of Belgians, these means of transport represent the most reliable, efficient, flexible and comfortable means of transport for their daily journeys.
Offering for four days a complete Hall dedicated to complementary mobility solutions (micro-mobility, shared mobility and applications that will facilitate our urban mobility in the future), which are enjoying growing recognition and popularity, as well as an entire Hall unveiling the most breathtaking jewels of automotive production, the 97th Brussels Motor Show offered its visitors the most complete panel of mobility possibilities on one, two and four wheels. In addition, exhibitors placed particular emphasis on electric, hybrid and compressed natural gas engines.
FEBIAC is now looking forward to seeing you in January 2020 for the 98th edition of its Show which, as in every even-numbered year, will focus on cars, motorcycles and new (shared) mobility solutions.
